Giorgio Moroder - Discography (1968-2013)

¿Quién es Giorgio Moroder? Quizás muchos desconocían su existencia hasta su colaboración con Daft Punk, pero al italiano se le debe gran parte de la música disco que reinó en la década de los setenta, con intérpretes como Donna Summer, Debbie Harry, Olivia Newton-John y demás. Su estilo, definido por la experimentación de sintetizadores con el objetivo de hacer música bailable, marcó tal década.

Conquistó a la Academia en 1979 con la banda sonora de Midnight Express (1978), quitándole el premio Oscar por Mejor banda sonora a John Williams por Superman (Richard Donner, 1978) y a Ennio Morricone por Days of heaven (Terrence Malick, 1978).  Y fue responsable de varios scores para películas icónicas como The Never Ending Story (Wolfgang Petersen, 1984), Scarface (Brian De Palma, 1983) y Cat People (Paul Schrader, 1982).
