Miracles is a 1989 Hong Kong action film starring and directed by Jackie Chan, who also writer with Edward Tang. The film is set in 1930s Hong Kong and is a variation of Frank Capra's Lady for a Day and Pocketful of Miracles, which in turn were based on "Madame La Gimp", a short story by Damon Runyon. This movie is written by Edward Tang with inputs from Jackie.

Miracles features many well-known Hong Kong actors, including Anita Mui and Wu Ma, and is considered one of Jackie Chan's most sophisticated directorial efforts. Chan is an ardent fan of Hollywood musicals, and Miracles pays a tribute to that genre. According to his autobiography, Chan stated that this was one of his favorite films he has made.

The Devil – aka Devil’s Express and original title Xie Mo – is a 1981 Hong Kong-Taiwan supernatural horror feature film directed by Jen-Chieh Chang from a screenplay written by Po Sheng Lu [as Pak Sang Luk]. The movie stars Shao Tung Chou, Bao Yu Wang and Di Ou.

#Robos | Robotrix / Nu ji xie ren, 1991.

Esta roba de Robocop y de Terminator.

La historia es la de una policía encargada de proteger al hijo de un jeque árabe que muere en su misión, dejando una deuda pendiente y a un novio sin enterarse de su muerte; el culpable de todo es un malvado doctor que ha convertido su cuerpo en el de un Cyborg para adquirir una fuerza sobrehumana. El cuerpo de la policía es devuelto a la vida en forma de Cyborg para poder combatir con el villano, de tal manera que parece que la han curado y ni siquiera ella se entera de lo que es en realidad. Para llevar a cabo su misión y cazar al terrorista salido y ávido de sexo, embarcará a todo el departamento más a otra compañera robot en una búsqueda desesperada con los métodos más tontos.



Una película de bajo presupuesto, pero tampoco de serie Z, sería simplemente una producción modesta de principios de los ’90, con muchísimo humor, pero incluso más del provocado por las bromas y las situaciones completamente estúpidas que nos plantea, que por su nivel de cutrez (hay alguna escena de carcajada). Además de todo el humor (ya os confirmamos que es más una película cómica y no de acción, como podría parecer por el título), tiene una gran carga erótica, no tanto como para excitar al personal, pero sí como para darle una clasificación CATIII y aprovechar el juego que eso da en según qué públicos. Con unos disfraces la mar de cutres y unos efectos especiales de risa, aquí lo que salva completamente a la película es la presencia de Amy Yip (Sex and Zen, Erotic Ghost Story).

Vendría a ser la versión Made In China de Transformers con algo de Terminator y The Matrix.

Año 2046. Los robots son creados para servir al hombre. De Ming (Alex Fong) es la primera generación de AI androide inventada para proteger a la fuerza de trabajo de la policía. Bajo la supervisión de Xu Da Chun (Hu Jun), De Ming se pone en una formación en el empleo en una remota aldea donde su verdadera identidad no es revelada. Se trata de un film futurista que nos muestra la batalla del bien y el mal entre robots, mostrándonos su propia redención en el proceso. La historia sucede en algún momento de un mundo futuro donde los robots, que parecen haber adquirido valores morales, se han apuntado cada uno a un bando y están en guerra entre ellos. El actor Hu Jun interpreta a un policía que se convierte en cyborg, Sun Li interpreta a la hermana adoptiva de Hu Jun que se enamora del cyborg Alex Fong, y Wu Jing interpreta a un robot que antes fue malvado pero que eventualmente se ha reformado.
